Girl, Did You See Reed Between The Lines? The Natural Hair Episode?

We did! And we liked. In this video, we talk all about that, but mostly we share our thoughts about how we feel about the show so far. If you recall, we were both pretty excited after the premiere episodes. How do we feel now, a few episodes in, after the Girlfriends and Cosby Show nostalgia has worn off a bit? How do you feel about the show so far? Watch our conversation and join in!

They did say in the first show that they were twins and that they had a different father (they have a different last name), so it is a "blended family," IMO SO current and SO relevant.

The last really cute family oriented show that I liked was "My Wife and Kids." I loved that show as well. It was pretty mainstream for a while, but could also be a little cornball at times with Tisha Campbell and Damon Wayans.

...and ,yes, we are totally jaded as a society...if they aren't punching each other and rolling eyes and being superficial and cussing each other out, it's not "entertaining."

I am finding Reed between the lines refreshing. It's nice to take a break from the idiocy of BBW and In Love & Hip Hop and Real Housewives of Wherever...

I think BET could turn it around. I mean think about it...I'm watching BET. I may be the quintessential wall-up person. It NEVER occurred to me before Reed that there would be ANYTHING on BET worth watching. I'm still stunned that I have my DVR set to record a BET show. And I'm going to try Let's Stay Together because you've recommended it. I need more Black folks on tv, so this could be it. Thanks ya'll.
